What is product placement? Product placement is another form of marketing for your company. In exchange to have your product placed or distributed to celebrities, musicians, the media and retail buyers, you will provide product from your company. It will be sent directly to the celebrity, media or buyer for their review/use. You may or may not receive a response from the gifting recipient, but we work with the reps to ensure prompt delivery and confirmations. As with all marketing campaigns please be patient.
How will it celebrity product placement benefit my company? There are no guarantees with any marketing campaigns and you should treat this opportunity just as you would any other marketing or advertising endeavor. While some celebrities may send you a “thank you” card, picture or they may even be seen wearing your product . . . . .most probably won’t. You will have to decide what’s best for you and your company.
How many items do I have to send? It will vary depending upon the placement, please see each opporotunity for the specifics.
What is the cost to participate? It will vary depending upon the placement, please check each opporotunity to see if there is a fee. There are no long term contracts, no hidden fees and no membership fees, when working with Burt + Brewington Creative Agency.
What is needed in order for my company to participate? You decide what you’d like to send for each placement, however if there are any specific requests, it will be posted with each product placement opporotunity. If you’re not sure about what to send please contact us and we’ll be happy to help. Gift certificates are always welcome, especially if you have bulky, large or perishable items.
Can I participate in the gifting if I make perishable items? Yes. Please notify us that your items are perishable when you sign up for a specific placement. We will give you a specific date to ship your items to us.
How will I be notified of gifting opportunities? Whenever we receive a new opportunity we will post under "current opporotunities" here on our website, our twitter page or our facebook page. Make sure you check back with us often, follow us or like us to be in the know.
Where do I ship my items? Once you have confirmed participation in a gifting you will receive the shipping information via email. Please make sure all of your contact information is current.
Can I send my companies marketing materials? Yes. We encourage that you send in materials about your company. If you need help deciding what to send, just send us a message and we’d be glad to help.
Can I send a note to the recipient? Yes. We encourage you to send letters; it’s always a nice personal touch.
What if I don’t have any marketing materials, can I still participate? Yes you can. A business card and personal note will usually be fine.
How do I sign up to participate in a product placement? Please go to the “current opportunities” section, chose the product placement of choice. You’ll either see an option to pay or an option to sign up for the placement. If you are having any difficulties, please complete our “contact us” form or send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the placement name in the subject line.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind? We are unable to offer refunds on any placement unless we are unable to participate as a company or we don’t have enough participants for the gifting. If for some reason you have to cancel your participation in the placement we require a written notice at least 5 days prior to the posted ship date. You will be issued a credit, minus a 25% cancellation fee, for a future gifting.
Will I get a response from the celebrity placement? Sometimes there are responses from the celebrities or media and this can sometimes take months to receive. We typically receive a quicker response from retail product placements. Whenever we receive a note, picture or request we will immediately post and contact the mentioned business or businesses. We at Burt + Brewington Creative Agency will always confirm receipt of the gifting to the recipient and any other relevant information and forward to all that participated in the gifting.
I received a photo/thank you note/editorial request/order, now what? Congratulations! You can now use that for leverage in creating buzz for you and your company, which will hopefully increase awareness, sales and media coverage for your product /company.
